We are an open meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. Our meeting is held on Thursday nights from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.

Our meeting format:

We read a step out of the Big Book, going around the room reading a paragraph at a time. When the reading is finished, our speaker shares his/her experience on this step. There is no break. Big Books are provided.

After the speaker finishes, we go around the room for others to share their experience on this step. In order to speak at this meeting, you must be an alcoholic and have completed the steps as they are laid out in the Big Book with the help of a Step Study sponsor. You must be in the process of making amends and practicing Steps Ten, Eleven, and Twelve daily. If you haven’t done this with the Big Book Sponsor, or you did this by yourself, or using an AWOL, we ask that you listen. If you are not sure, please listen and check with the chairperson after the meeting.

We ask that you listen. We don’t want to insult you or question your sobriety. These types of Big Book meetings are highly structured. We’re trying to do the Steps and practice the recovery process as it is laid out in the Big Book. Group conscience voted to remind people to focus on the Step being studied and focus on the spiritual solution.
